Mark Reinfeld has been preparing inspired vegan and live food cuisine for over 15 years. He is the founding chef of the Blossoming Lotus Restaurant, winner of Honolulu Advertiser’s ‘Ilima Award for ‘Best Kaua'i Restaurant’. He is the recipient of a Platinum Carrot Award for Raw Foods given to Americas top “trailblazing and innovative chefs”. Mark's first book, Vegan Fusion World Cuisine has won 9 international awards including ‘Cookbook of the Year’, ‘Best New Cookbook’ and a Gourmand Award for ‘Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the USA’. Jennifer Murray is the co-author, along with Mark, of the Complete Idiots Guide to Eating Raw, in which she was chiefly responsible for recipe development, and the upcoming The 30-Minute Vegan. She teaches classes across the country demonstrating the ease and delectability of vegan cooking, baking and raw food preparation. Designing fun, mouthwatering food that looks as good as it tastes is her way of spreading vegetarianism.
