It's been three years in our location at the Historic Dragon Building in Downtown Kapa'a and we celebrated Lotus style with a masquerade ball.

Everyone had an amazing time as 150 of us danced the night away to sounds of DJ PFunk.

On November 3, 2007 the 2nd Annual Vegan Holiday Festival at Benson High School in Portland, OR was held. The goal was to strengthen the vegan community, and to celebrate and recognize local vegan businesses, organizations and individuals. We showed how vegans can thrive during this time of year which is typically focused on using animals for food and clothing.

Just in time for the holidays, our award-winning cookbook is now available in soft cover. This breathtaking book makes a perfect gift for anyone interested in health, sustainability and world class cuisine. Vegan Fusion World Cuisine is the winner of 9 International Awards including 'Best Vegetarian Cookbook in the USA'.

The countdown continues for our world wide recipe contest. There are less than 90 Days left for us to receive your recipes. All entries must be received by February 1st, 2008. Winners will be announced on March 20th, 2008.

The top recipes will be included in our 7 MINUTE CHEF e-book series. From these, we will be selecting 50 RUNNER UP PRIZES and ONE GRAND PRIZE winner. The Grand Prize includes an awesome, all expense paid trip for two to Kaua'i, Hawaii.

Woody is a committed environmental and health activist. He has traveled the American West Coast on a bike and domino caravan with a hemp oil-fueled bio diesel bus (the subject of the independent documentary, Go Further) and has narrated the documentary Grass.

Woody and Laura started Voice Yourself , a nonprofit organization to connect people and to share information about alternatives bio diesel, sustainable clothing companies (i.e. hemp, organic cotton and bamboo) and to get clean and natural cleansers into your hands and homes.

As one of Kauai’s premiere fine artists, Troy Carney captures the essence of the South Pacific’s exotic tropical landscapes and the captivating culture of its indigenous people.

The Polynesian cultures of the Pacific Islands have influenced him from the very beginning. Troy Francois Carney was born and raised by the ocean in the pictorial community of New Zealand's Bay Of Plenty with his mother, a fine artist, and his farther, the owner of a surfboard manufacturing company.

As a teenager, Troy lived an idyllic island life on Kaua'i, Hawaii where his appreciation and love grew for the warmth and spirit of the Polynesian cultures. A New Zealand Maori association recognized his artistic pursuits when he was presented with the Ranui Memorial Award for Excellence during his study at Mount Maunganui College, New Zealand.

Troy currently lives and paints on the island of Kaua'i. His collection of work resonates strongly with Polynesian influence and has continued to grow and develop in theme and content. His latest paintings can be seen in various exhibitions island-wide.
