Ingredients
1 C Filtered water
2⁄3 C Tahini, raw
3 Tbl shoyu, or to taste
3 Tbl Lemon juice, fresh squeezed
1 Tbl Miso paste, your favorite
1 Tbl Cilantro, minced
2 tsp Maple syrup or agave nectar
¼ tsp Cayenne pepper, or to taste
Loving Preparation
1. For Creamy Tahini Marinade, place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. This marinade is good for cutlets that will be crusted, and/or baked.
2. For Shoyu or Lemon Herb Marinade, place ingredients in a bowl and whisk well. These marinades are good for items like grilled or sautéed veggies, tofu, tempeh or ulu. Lemon Herb Marinade is
especially suited for simple and Live Food items.
Variations
For a thick miso tahini dip, add water slowly until a desired consistency is reached.
