Habibi’s Halvah
20 min cooking / 30 min cooling / 8” x 8” pan


Ingredients

2 C Chocolate chips
2 C Raw tahini (the thickest consistency available)
3 Tbl Agave nectar
1 tsp Vanilla extract, alcohol free
Pinch Cinnamon powder
Pinch Cardamom powder


Loving Preparation
1. Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler according to instructions on page 157 of cookbook.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir in melted chocolate,
transfer to an 8”x 8” pan and refrigerate until thick, from 30 minutes to a few hours depending upon the thickness of the tahini used.

Serving Suggestion:
Top with ½ C of toasted pumpkin seeds or pistachio nuts, chopped fine, before refrigerating and mix well.
